Verisign is committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights and complying with applicable laws and regulations including laws against human trafficking, forced labor, modern slavery and unlawful child labor.

The Nature of Our Business and Supply Chain

Verisign is a global technology company providing domain name registry services and critical internet infrastructure.

Our supply chain is largely composed of suppliers of hardware, software and telecommunications services, where the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking is low.

Policies and Governance

Verisign adheres to a published Code of Conduct that requires employees to uphold the Company’s commitment to human rights and forbids employees from working with any company or individual that engages in human rights abuses including forced labor, unlawful child labor, or human trafficking.

If an employee has concerns regarding an activity that potentially goes against Verisign's commitment to human rights, they are invited to raise their concerns to their manager, Human Resources, or via the anonymous Ethics and Compliance Hotline.

All employees undertake mandatory training on the Code of Conduct and certify compliance with the Code annually.

Transaction Due Diligence

Verisign's suppliers adhere to a published Supplier Code of Conduct that forbids human trafficking or any form of slavery. Failure to adhere to the Supplier Code of Conduct is a breach of the supplier's agreement with Verisign.
