This includes harassment based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. Sexual harassment involves unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors or other physical or verbal conduct of a sexual nature.
