Verisign Senior Vice President, Technology Services

Biography

Dave Pool is the senior vice president of Verisign's technology services group, where he leads the architecture, development and operation of the company's infrastructure, platforms, services and applications.

Prior to taking this role, Pool was the senior vice president of engineering at Red Lambda, where he oversaw all technology functions including product architecture, product development and professional services.

Pool previously worked at Verisign from 2001 to 2012, holding various technology leadership roles that were instrumental to maintaining the company’s 100 percent service availability track record for .com and .net. Additionally, he led the development of Verisign’s Advanced Transaction Lookup and Signaling System (ATLAS), Domain Name Service (DNS) platform, and launched Verisign Labs.

Pool has held technology leadership and individual contributor roles at numerous technology and consulting companies, including IBM, Booz Allen Hamilton and CSC.

Pool earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and computer science from Longwood University.
