Channel Partner Program for Communications Services Business
Program Designed to Extend Reach of Communications, Commerce and Content
Services through strategic partners
SINGAPORE – 3GSM World Congress Asia – September 27, 2005—
VeriSign, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRSN), the leading provider of intelligent infrastructure
services for the Internet and telecommunications networks, today announced
the launch of the VeriSign® International Channel Partner Program, which
will support value-added resellers, technology partners and systems
integrators and complement direct sales activities for VeriSign® Intelligent
Communications, Commerce and Content (IC3) services.
Demand for secure, trusted, third party services such
as data roaming, inter-carrier SMS and MMS services is growing and VeriSign
products are poised to take advantage of this growth. VeriSign developed
its International Channel Partner Program to strengthen current relationships
and create new opportunities for companies to license VeriSign services
and incorporate them into their own product offerings. These products
include VeriSign
NetDiscovery, GPRS Roaming eXchange (GRX), Wireless
Data Roaming Service (WDRS), Enterprise Messaging Service
(EMS), PBX
IP Connect, Inter-Carrier
Multi-Media Messaging (ICMMS), and Roamer
View.
The Channel Partner Portfolio spans a broad range
of Communications, Commerce and Content products and services that are
targeted for international markets. As part of the program and benefits
VeriSign provides training, marketing support, implementation services,
and access to VeriSign business development, engineering and marketing
resources.

Initial members of the VeriSign International Channel
Partner Program will include technology partners, resellers and systems
integrators, including Nortel, MSGI Security Solutions and Mahindra
British Telecom (MBT), which will be selling a range of innovative products
and services from VeriSign.
