VeriSign Seal Installation Instructions



Note: You must purchase a VeriSign® SSL Certificate or VeriSign Trust™ Seal in order to display the VeriSign seal on your Web site.

1. Select the type of product you purchased.

Trust Seal (no SSL)
VeriSign
SSL Certificate

2. Select the language for the Verify link and verification page

3. Select the size of the seal display.

4. Select to display format as an animated graphic (Flash) or a static GIF file (Image).

5. Enter the Web site name or Common Name.
(Do not include http:// or https://)
VeriSign Trust Seal customers should enter the domain name provided during enrollment. SSL customers must enter the common name (CN) for which the SSL Certificate was issued. For example, if the common name is secure.verisign.com, enter secure.verisign.com.

If the common name is an IDN (such as www.青年奥运.com), please enter the corresponding punycode.

Click "I accept" to generate your script in the box below and copy it directly into your Web page code.
(Emailing or copying the code into a word processor may result in errors.)

Verification and authentication of your Trust Seal order usually takes between two to three days. Once verified, the VeriSign seal should display within 24 hours of installation and often will display within a couple of hours.

  1. Open the updated pages in a browser.
  2. Make sure the seal appears as expected.
  3. Click the seal to check the verification page.
  4. Review the information to make sure it is correct.
