To encrypt an outgoing message: Click the Encrypt Message button in the message window or choose Tools > Encrypt from the menu. The encrypted icon is displayed in the lower right corner of the address pane indicating that the message is encrypted. Note: Clicking again on the Encrypt Message button will toggle the encryption setting.
