Security Phrase
Each registrar assigns themselves a security
phrase in the initial ramp-up stages of becoming a registrar. This security
phrase is recorded on the front page of the Registrar Data Sheet. Customer
Service uses the security phrase to validate and authenticate customers'
requests. The security phrase can be used for the following:
- Perform domain maintenance
- Perform contact
changes
- Divulge billing
information
- Reveal password
or user ID information
- Report requests.
Language Line
VeriSign registry Customer Service offers over-the-phone
interpretation service for registrars. The language line enables us
to support over 140 different languages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The language line is available to members of
your staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. If you
would like to use an interpreter, please let Customer Service know when
