VeriSign® Number Identity Registry |
 |
|
VeriSign® Number Identity Registry enables
communications between users of different communities, expanding the
addressable user base and enhancing the value of your services. Accurate
registration information is provided for all ported, non-ported, and
pooled telephone numbers. ENUM and DNS queries for E.164 addresses are
returned with the associated service provider identifier (SPID) or a
pseudo-service provider identifier (Pseudo-SPID). The service will also
map the E.164 address and/or SPID with a uniform resource identifier,
when available. Customers can use the information to route calls and
mobile messaging services to other service providers’ networks.
Robust Infrastructure for Delivering Critical
Services
VeriSign Number Identity Registry provides
telephone number registration information, enabling streamline delivery
of critical services such as short messaging service (SMS) and multimedia
messaging service (MMS), voice, and mobile content.
Highly Scalable Query-Response Directory
VeriSign Number Identity Registry is built on the
VeriSign® Advanced Transaction Lookup and Signaling (ATLAS®) platform.
The ATLAS architecture is highly-scalable, supporting 100 million domain
name records, 18 million adds, changes, or deletes per day, and over
200 billion look-ups per day.
Multiple Data Sources for Control
VeriSign Number Identity Registry maintains
data from both public and private sources allowing more control and
flexibility in accessing registration information. Public data is global
in scope and viewable by all ENUM querying clients. Private data is
restricted and viewable only by the associated ENUM client or other
clients who have been granted access.
Secure Web Portal
The Web portal allows service providers to
self-manage private ENUM data such as white lists, and allows providers
to quickly import ENUM data by uploading a single file.
