Registrar Days
Registration is now open for the VeriSign Engineering
Symposium on September 19, 2006 to be held at VeriSign’s Corporate Headquarters
in Mountain View, CA, just outside of beautiful San Francisco.
This is the chance for technical teams from VeriSign and registrars
to exchange ideas and review the latest implementation and technical
issues that affect the day-to-day operations of our businesses.
These face-to-face meetings are the latest in our series of successful
technical events, and provide practical information and open dialog
that allows everyone to improve the business of domain name registration.
Technology Focused for Success
Taking place at VeriSign’s Mountain View location
on September 19, this event is designed to provide a registrar’s technical
implementation and operations teams with a series of presentations and
information to outline the systems and processes to use to optimize
how our systems can work together. Demonstrations, descriptions,
overviews of program tools, technology roadmaps and program status reviews
promise to make this event an informative, hands-on experience.
Who Should Attend?
This registrar event is designed for technical
teams tasked with the implementation and integration of VeriSign products
and services into their domain name registration operations. The presentations
and discussions are highly technical, and provide an opportunity for
registrar staff to interact directly with VeriSign’s lead engineers
and pick up their insight into finding the best way to integrate your
processes with VeriSign. Please make sure to pass along an invitation
to colleagues who would best benefit from participating in this event.
All registrars are invited to attend, with
particular emphasis on registrars in the North American region. Our
next Engineering Symposium event is planned for the fourth quarter of
2006, to be held in Europe. These events are more successful when there
is high participation and attendance from a wide range of registrars
and their staff.
Committed to Success
VeriSign is committed to helping our registrar
partners improve their business and drive more domain name registrations.
We looked at the successes and feedback from past events and developed
an agenda, led by Mark House, VeriSign’s Vice President of Engineering,
packed with sessions and presentations full of valuable information.
