Welcome to the Verisign New gTLD Customer Portal. We are excited to continue building strong relationships with our new gTLD customers as we embark into the next evolution of internet.
ICANN has developed several process documents to address items that a Registry Operator may encounter throughout the time they operate a TLD. Below is a list of the processes with which Registry Operators should be familiar.
|Expedited Registry Security Request Process||The Expedited Registry Security Request (ERSR) provides a process for gTLD registries who inform ICANN of a present or imminent security incident to their TLD and/or the DNS to request a contractual waiver for actions it might take or has taken to mitigate or eliminate an Incident.||http://www.icann.org/en/resources/registries/ersr|
|RRA Amendment Procedure||The RRA amendment Procedure provides a process for consideration by ICANN of proposed amendments to gTLD RRAs where the registry is required to obtain ICANN approval of such amendments.||http://www.icann.org/en/resources/registries/rra-amendment-procedure-25aug11-en|
|gTLD Registry Continuity||The goals of ICANN’s gTLD Registry Continuity framework are to protect existing registrants and to ensure confidence in the DNS.||http://www.icann.org/en/resources/registries/continuity|
|Registry Service Evaluation Process||The RSEP must be used by Registry Operators prior to launching new services that are deemed Registry Services.
Note: This is also an ICANN Consensus Policy.
