In order to achieve improved customer convenience and labor-saving administrative procedures, the Nomura Securities Hotto-Direct Service Department has abolished the registered seal method and adopted the VeriSign® Identity Protection (VIP) Unified Authentication (UA) One-Time Password (OTP) - a password limited to one use - as a means of personal authentication. This new method is free of charge to customers of the Hotto-Direct Department. With this change, they have achieved simple and reliable personal authentication and labor-saving administrative processing.
