For the 2nd year in a row, Verisign’s Customer Service group earned the coveted “Rated Outstanding Global Assisted Support” certification from the Technical Services Industry Association (TSIA). The TSIA is the world's leading organization dedicated to advancing the business of technology services. The “Rated Outstanding” rating recognizes companies whose customer-service practices reflect practices jointly developed by TSIA and more than 50 leading technology companies including Cisco, Oracle, HP, McAfee, IBM, EMC, Intuit, Symantec and BAE.

Verisign was recognized this year for having five (5) best practice areas: Disaster Recovery, Data Security, Real-Time Operational Performance displays, Strategic Planning, and Support Team Staffing Models. In addition, areas of strength noted during the audit included: Internal Communications, Marketing Support Plan, SLA Management, Technical Support Representative New Hire Training, and Shift Scheduling Process.
