Overview

UK based Attenda Ltd., IT managed service provider to companies such as EasyCar, Harrods, Avis, Reed, Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, and Sun Microsystems, was founded in 1997 with the vision to manage business-critical Web applications, providing a level of service which was previously unavailable in the marketplace.

Key Challenges

Attenda needed the support of an intelligent infrastructure that would allow its clients to perform their own administration while simultaneously allowing Attenda to monitor all activity and intervene if and when necessary. Additionally, Attenda needed to leverage an infrastructure that would not significantly impact on the performance of Attenda’s own systems.

Solution

Attenda enrolled in VeriSign’s ISP Reseller Partner Program, an intelligent infrastructure service that allows Attenda to mitigate the complexity of managing hundreds of SSL Certificates. The VeriSign® ISP Reseller Partner Program offers a variable pricing structure on SSL Certificates that gives cost benefits for larger quantity purchases that Attenda can then pass on to its clients.

Results

Due in part to the support provided by the VeriSign services, Attenda has attained the goals it envisioned when the company was founded. Attenda is currently a Microsoft Gold partner for Hosting and Applications Services as well as a SunTone accredited partner. In addition, Attenda was Hewlett Packard’s first Signature partner throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
